Afognak Native Corporation seeks a Chief Engineer to supervise the engineering team, manage maintenance and projects, and ensure safe, compliant operations at government facilities in the Washington, DC area.

You will lead technical design reviews, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive preventive maintenance programs while meeting stringent regulatory requirements and 24/7 on-call readiness.

Competenze

• TS/SCI clearance or willingness to obtain Security+ and Network+ within 45 days.
• Engineering license: 1st class for chief; 3rd class for lead.
• 10+ years in large government facilities or similar.
• Regular work hours 6–3 and 24/7 emergency call availability.
• OSHA 30 and active driver's license.
• U.S. citizen.

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to plan and execute maintenance and repair projects.
• Oversee planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects.
• Coordinate with departments for seamless project integration.
• Provide technical oversight and ensure compliance with standards and safety.
