Job summary

The Hertrich Family of Automobile Dealerships seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician to perform comprehensive facilities maintenance across regional sites on the Delmarva Peninsula. The role offers independence, stability, and opportunities for growth and leadership.

You will handle electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC repairs, coordinate with outside vendors when needed, and travel between locations using a company-provided vehicle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in building or facilities maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance at dealership and collision centers.
• Complete minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC repairs.
• Repair lighting, switches, outlets, fixtures, and equipment.
• Fix leaks, replace faucets, and clear drains.
• Paint walls and repair doors and hardware.
• Replace HVAC filters and perform preventative maintenance.
• Monitor building systems and identify maintenance needs.
• Coordinate and oversee outside vendors as needed.
• Travel between dealership locations using company vehicle.
