Job summary

Empire Southwest is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC components. You will oversee work groups as directed by the Property Manager and ensure safety and housekeeping standards are met.

Responsibilities include coordinating with contracted services, maintaining records, and responding to service requests while complying with all policies. A valid driver’s license and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.
• Extensive knowledge of building construction and maintenance trades.
• Ability to read service manuals, write reports and logs, and maintain timecards.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and various shifts; comfortable in indoor/outdoor settings.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems including lighting, electrical distribution, plumbing, HVAC, and related components.
• Oversees work groups as directed by the Property Manager and coordinates with contracted services.
• Maintains safe, clean work environments and adheres to safety policies and company procedures.
• Responds to maintenance requests and sustains proper documentation across logs and reports.
