Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc is seeking an experiencedFacilities Maintenance professional to service and maintain building systems at our Beverly, MA site. You will manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing components and coordinate with production teams to ensure continuous operations.

The role requires 5–7 years in facilities maintenance, with strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and safety practices. A trade school background is preferred, and the candidate should be able to lift 40 pounds and

Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in facilities maintenance.
Experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and hazardous materials handling.
Demonstrated preventative maintenance experience.
Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
Self-motivated with time management and initiative; able to work with little direction.
Strong service orientation and commitment to safe work environment.
Attention to detail and good oral/written communication.

Responsibilities

Maintain all facilities related equipment (HVAC units, air compressors, DI water systems).
Perform building maintenance and repairs (painting, electrical, flooring/ceiling tiles, lighting).
Ensure all preventative maintenance and service requests are performed.
Install and set up required equipment and ensure operational readiness.
Support production equipment maintenance team.
