Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance professional to schedule and complete preventative maintenance on HVAC units, water systems, and related equipment.

You will create documentation, manage projects, and ensure operational readiness, while supporting production equipment maintenance and safety standards. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in facilities management or equivalent with 2.5-5 years experience.
• Experience in facilities maintenance/technician roles.
• Understanding of HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical skills.
• Computer literacy with office applications.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and hazardous material handling.
• Demonstrated preventative maintenance experience.
• Self-motivated with good time management and initiative.
• Strong service orientation and commitment to safe work environment.
• Attention to detail and excellent communication at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, maintain, and complete all preventative maintenance on facilities equipment.
• Perform building maintenance and repairs (painting, electrical, flooring, lighting).
• Create and write PM schedules and process documentation for QMS.
• Manage new facilities projects and ensure equipment readiness.
• Communicate project status and coordinate with suppliers.
• Support production equipment maintenance team.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Facilities management or equivalent discipline
