Cape Henry Collegiate in Virginia Beach seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician to support the school's facilities team. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining campus buildings with emphasis on electrical and plumbing systems.

The position is full-time, 12 months, with a Monday–Friday schedule 1:00pm–9:30pm, and requires experience with building maintenance and safe work practices. Benefits include PTO and health coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of commercial or institutional building-maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and plumbing systems safely.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete commercial building repairs, focusing on electrical and plumbing systems.
• Troubleshoot lighting, switches, receptacles, breakers, fixtures, drains, toilets, faucets, valves, water heaters, and related components.
• Perform general carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, ceiling, door, and hardware repairs.
• Prioritize and complete work orders based on safety and urgency.
