Job summary

Kincellis Advanced Therapies in Durham, NC, is seeking a Senior Technician for the Facilities and Engineering team. This on-site role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of infrastructure and equipment, ensuring the site remains compliant and operational.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in biotech/pharma maintenance, LOTO proficiency, and experience reading P&IDs and schematics. Strong documentation and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and maintaining utility and manufacturing equipment in CGMP Biotech/pharma.
• LOTO proficiency required.
• Must be agile and pivot priorities with short notice.
• Experience reading control schematics, loop diagrams, and P&IDs.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic computer systems.
• Regulatory knowledge of GMP/FDA/EMA in biologics is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for manufacturing, lab, and facility equipment.
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS.
• Supervise contractors and outside vendors.
• Maintain a clean, controlled production environment.
• Calibrate equipment and contribute to process improvements.
