Job summary

Kincellis Advanced Therapies is seeking a highly motivated Senior Technician to join the Facilities and Engineering team in Durham, NC. The role focuses on general maintenance of the facilities, preventive and corrective maintenance of supporting infrastructure and equipment, and ensuring the site is active and in good repair.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience maintaining utility systems, HVAC, or manufacturing equipment in CGMP biotech/pharma.
• Proficiency in LOTO.
• Able to pivot priorities with short notice.
• Experience reading control schematics, loop diagrams, and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Provide a clean, controlled environment for production.
• Perform and document preventive and corrective maintenance for manufacturing, lab, and facility equipment.
• Maintain infrastructure and supporting equipment.
• Perform calibrations for manufacturing, lab and facilities equipment.
• Document all work in CMMS.
• Keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Assist in relocation of furniture, equipment, and staff.
• Provide input to management for process improvements and maintenance procedures.
• Supervise contractors and outside vendors and document activities.
• Manage unplanned events and coordinate repairs to keep equipment/facilities operational.
• Support readiness for new bio-manufacturing areas and maintain current operations.
• Attend cross-functional ENG site meetings.
