Collins Aerospace in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Senior Technician, Facilities Maintenance – 2nd Shift (Onsite). The role covers installation, maintenance, troubleshooting of industrial electrical systems, HVAC equipment, and fire protection devices to keep facilities safe and compliant.

The candidate will read blueprints, work across production areas, and perform preventive maintenance, with weekend/on-call shifts as needed. A HS diploma or equivalent, plus relevant certifications, are required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or AA/AS degree or other 2-year post high school training required.
• Experience in industrial electrical systems, HVAC maintenance, and fire protection systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Availability to work in shifts, weekends, or on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical issues and implement corrective measures.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems and ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain fire protection equipment including alarms, sprinklers, and extinguishers.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment.
