Job summary

Success Academy Charter Schools in New York City is seeking a Renovations & Facilities Project Manager to lead multi-year capital projects and strategic maintenance across the building portfolio. Reporting to the Team Lead, this role bridges classroom support and leadership, coordinating with architects, engineers, and city agencies to ensure code compliance and on-time completion.

Hybrid work in NYC’s Financial District, with on-site Tue–Thu and remote Mon–Fri; compensation range $90k–$105k,

Qualifications

• 5 to 7+ years of experience in real estate, architecture, construction, facilities, or procurement.
• Direct experience with NYC government agencies (DOE, SCA, DOB, DOT).
• End-to-end project management including budgeting, scheduling, contracts, and feasibility studies.

Responsibilities

• Develop multi-year facilities plans and assessments across the school portfolio.
• Lead end-to-end capital improvement and renovation projects with timelines and scope updates.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external providers—architects, engineers, expeditors, contractors.
• Perform due diligence (zoning, code compliance) and manage approvals with agencies (DOE/DOB/DOT).
• Oversee routine and emergency maintenance, budgets, contracts, and COI documentation.
