Job summary

Chick‑fil‑A Supply seeks a Sr. Maintenance Technician to lead day-to-day maintenance of the CFA Supply DC building envelope and equipment in Hutchins, TX. You will collaborate with the Maintenance and Operations teams, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance across the site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• 7+ years of experience in maintenance within food manufacturing and distribution operations or similar operations
• Proficiency in equipment maintenance, mechanical design, and assembly
• Multi skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines, including hydraulic maintenance, with trouble-shooting experience
• Experience with blueprints and shop drawings
• Uncompromising commitment to food safety and safety for employees
• Self-starter in a fast-paced environment
• Experience leading and coaching maintenance teams
• Availability for on-call support and shift flexibility
• Team player, able to work independently
• Excellent written/verbal communication and multitasking skills; intermediate computer skills
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking) to safely follow verbal instructions, complete documentation and read company communications

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, preventative, reactive and predictive maintenance of the building envelope, building equipment, space occupied by CFA Supply, and common areas of the site
• Maintain equipment in accordance with manufacturer specs, work order instructions, and warranty agreements
• Escalate maintenance issues that cannot be resolved in a timely manner
• Perform maintenance activities in a reliable and cost-effective manner in compliance with safety, quality, compliance requirements and CFA's SOPs
• Identify reoccurring problems affecting asset life and identify possible solutions
• Load financial and operational data into CMMS and its financial systems accurately
• Perform off-shift critical work and emergency repairs when needed
• Participate in the selection of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary to support maintenance operations; help determine inventory levels
• Ensure maintenance and facilities management records are properly maintained and safeguarded
• Support CFA Supply Sustainment's initiatives to reduce energy consumption and waste generation
• Support coordination with site leadership to discuss/coordinate activities that might impact each other
• Potential to be required to act as Maintenance Lead on weekend shift
