Job summary

Mountain America Credit Union is seeking a facilities professional to maintain open property, buildings, equipment, and grounds, and to coordinate remodels and refurbishments across multiple sites in Sandy and West Jordan, UT. The role includes data analytics support and producing periodic reports, with responsibility for decisions made without supervision.

The position requires four years of progressive facility maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and relevant certifications

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of progressive experience in a business facility maintenance setting with oversight of multiple facilities totaling at least 30,000SF or a single facility with at least 70,000SF.
• High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• IFMA membership and FMP (or similar certification: CFM, SFP, PMP) earned within one year.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Preferred license in plumbing, electrical, or HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate remodel and refurbish projects as directed.
• Control scope creep, project change orders, and all expenditures.
• Track progress of projects against goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Contribute to defining project requirements, deadlines, goals, and objectives.
• Establish project work plans and schedules.
• Develop extensive understanding of applications within the business environment.
• Take initiative to be a problem solver and provide suggestions to improve processes and efficiencies.
• Maintain knowledge of corporate and branch spaces, including HVAC, building automation systems, fire alarm/suppression systems, electrical, and lighting systems.
• Evaluate unique circumstances and communicate findings and recommendations to Facilities Leadership.
• Accept routine assignments of projects and presentations with confidence.
• Track and complete all ServiceNow tickets in a timely and efficient manner.
• Exercise independent judgment within defined parameters.
• Follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Take ownership of personal learning and development, seeking new areas of knowledge and expertise.
• Mentor and train other team members through coaching and job shadowing.
• Demonstrate inter‑personal skills, including the ability to lead and collaborate with ad‑hoc, internal, and external teams.
