Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Facilities Specialist in Hawthorne, CA to lead construction and maintenance across production lines and offices. You will coordinate drawings, reports, and schedules, balance multiple vendors, and ensure safety and ITAR requirements are met. Strong communication and planning skills are essential.

The role requires managing complex facility systems, supporting campus services, and driving projects to on-time completion with a focus on quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years of experience in managing facilities vendors, contract management in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years of experience in managing facilities vendors, contract management, or shipping and operational logistics

Responsibilities

• Lead construction and facilities related projects for new production lines, offices and industrial upgrades.
• Verify maintenance is being completed and coordinate HVAC, electrical, and facility systems repairs.
• Communicate schedules to personnel, subcontractors and suppliers to meet deadlines.
• Write and manage scope across multiple disciplines; track purchase orders and project schedules.
• Assist with badging, ITAR, NDA requirements and safety training.
