Job summary

Copeland, a global climate technologies company, is seeking a Senior/Lead Facilities Project Manager to lead complex capital projects across manufacturing, lab, office, and distribution facilities.

You will guide projects from concept through commissioning, partnering with engineering, maintenance, EHS, procurement, finance, IT, and external partners to ensure on-schedule, on-budget delivery with minimal disruption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience managing industrial facilities capital projects within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading multiple complex capital projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of industrial building systems including electrical, mechanical, structural, plumbing, fire protection, and process utilities.
• Experience managing architects, engineering firms, contractors, and equipment suppliers.
• Experience developing capital budgets, schedules, and project financial forecasts.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% based on project workload.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided.

Responsibilities

• Capitalize planning and execution: lead all phases of complex capital projects from concept to closeout.
• Develop scopes, budgets, schedules, procurement strategies, and execution plans.
• Coordinate with multiple functions to ensure project success and minimize disruption to operations.
• Manage architects, engineers, contractors, and equipment suppliers; monitor cost, schedule, quality, safety, and scope.
• Lead risk assessment, design reviews, and safety reviews; ensure successful commissioning and turnover.
