Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking a Facilities Operator to operate, maintain and repair equipment across multiple production areas, including edible oil and meal production, water treatment, and fuel farm. You will monitor indicators, perform startups and shutdowns, and keep logs to meet standards.

The role requires hands-on skills, adherence to SOPs, and the ability to support regulatory audits and safety programs. Alaska experience is a plus; a strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 6 years’ experience in Facilities Operations or similar.
• Secondary skill sets such as welding, plumbing, basic electrical troubleshooting or specialized equipment repair.
• HS Diploma or equivalent (or degree, etc.).
• HAZWOPER Certification (if not current, training provided by Trident).
• OSHA 10 Hour Certification (if not current, training provided by Trident).
• Industry-specific experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair machinery in designated areas such as edible oil production, meal production, water treatment and fuel farm.
• Monitor operation indicators and surge conditions to ensure equipment runs properly.
• Startup and shutdown equipment in assigned areas as appropriate.
• Lubricate, adjust and perform basic maintenance as directed by supervision.
• Collect, log and maintain data to meet regulatory standards and company SOPs.
• Assist in audits, inspections and corrective actions as required.
