Job summary

The Building People is actively seeking an experienced Project Manager to direct facility operations and maintenance for a major federal office and warehouse campus in Fort Worth, TX. You will oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, BAS, and grounds across a large multi-building site, leading trades teams and sustaining high safety and reliability standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities operations and maintenance management, including project management or supervisory responsibility.
• Experience managing building mechanical systems and maintenance operations in facilities of similar size and complexity (600,000+ sq ft preferred).
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multi-trade teams and hold staff accountable to performance standards.
• Strong communication and customer relationship management skills.
• Ability to pass a background/security screening and obtain facility access credentials as required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of authority for all contract and operational matters, representing the company in all communications with the customer.
• Direct and oversee day-to-day building operations and maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, vertical transportation, grounds, and BAS.
• Build and manage a staffing plan, including hiring, training, and supervising onsite supervisors, technicians, and support staff.
• Coordinate subcontractors and specialty trade partners as needed to fulfill service requirements.
• Own the quality control program, ensuring high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a strong, responsive working relationship with the customer's facility management representatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs, training requirements, and all applicable codes and regulations.
• Track and report on maintenance activity using CMMS.
