Job summary

The Building People is seeking an Onsite Supervisor in Fort Worth, Texas to lead day-to-day maintenance at a large multi-building facility. You will supervise skilled trades staff responsible for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, grounds, and general building maintenance, reporting to the Project Manager.

This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating with facility representatives, ensuring timely work orders and preventive maintenance, and maintaining emergency procedures to keep the site safe

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise onsite maintenance staff performing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, grounds, and general building maintenance work.
• Ensure work orders, preventive maintenance, and service requests are completed on time and to a high standard of quality.
• Support quality control inspections and partner with the Project Manager to resolve issues quickly.
• Coordinate with customer facility representatives to keep them informed of maintenance activity and respond to their needs.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of the facility's emergency procedures and participate in emergency response and drills as needed.
• Ensure your team stays current on required training, certifications, and safety practices.
• Track maintenance activity and work orders using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
