Job summary

The Building People is seeking an Onsite Supervisor to lead day-to-day maintenance operations across a large Fort Worth facility complex. You will supervise HVAC, electrical, plumbing, grounds, and general maintenance staff to keep operations safe and efficient.

Reporting to the Project Manager, this hands-on leadership role emphasizes timely work orders, quality, and adherence to safety standards while coordinating with customer facility representatives on all maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, and plumbing maintenance experience.
• Leadership experience supervising trades staff.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise onsite maintenance staff performing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, grounds, and general building maintenance work.
• Ensure work orders, preventive maintenance, and service requests are completed on time and to a high standard of quality.
• Support quality control inspections and partner with the Project Manager to resolve issues quickly.
• Coordinate with customer facility representatives to keep them informed of maintenance activity and respond to their needs.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of the facility's emergency procedures and participate in emergency response and drills as needed.
• Ensure your team stays current on required training, certifications, and safety practices.
• Track maintenance activity and work orders using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
