Job summary

SOSi is seeking a Facilities Operations Manager to lead maintenance and continuous improvement of our Reston, VA facilities, ensuring safe, efficient operation of building systems and workplace services.

The role requires leadership of maintenance teams, budget oversight, and strong knowledge of regulatory compliance to drive safety programs, vendor coordination, and cost-saving initiatives while sustaining high service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of facilities management experience with at least three in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, compliance and safety requirements.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
• Proficient in CMMS and facilities management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation, maintenance, and performance of facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety.
