Job summary

Fibertek, Inc. is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to oversee 70,000 sq ft across two buildings in Herndon, VA.

You will lead a small facilities team, supervise contractors and vendors, and coordinate maintenance, safety, and capital projects to keep labs, manufacturing space, and offices running smoothly. The role requires strong leadership, hands-on willingness, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced technical environment while coordinating with Engineering and IT to support

Qualifications

• The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and extensive facilities management experience.
• Minimum 7 years with degree or 10 years without degree in facilities leadership.
• Experience supporting engineering labs, manufacturing or technical facilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of 70,000 sq ft across two buildings and assets.
• Lead Facilities personnel, contractors, and vendors to meet goals.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, capital projects, and safety programs.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain safe, compliant environments.
• Budget, procure, and track facility-related expenditures.
