Job summary

The Building People, LLC, is seeking a full-time Facilities Operations Manager (Lead Area Facilities Operations Specialist) in Grand Prairie, TX. This role supports facility operations, energy mgmt, SRM and related maintenance while supervising staff and coordinating with government customers.

Key responsibilities include managing communications between customer and regional staff, tracking project status, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of facilities operations experience.
• Experience leading teams in challenging environments.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to obtain government- required clearance and work with customer.

Responsibilities

• Central point of communication between customer and regional staff.
• Support Program Manager with submission of accurate, timely contractual deliverables.
• Identify, document, and report building deficiencies with repair recommendations.
• Document, advise and inform customer and tenants on site matters.
• Assist Government in tracking project status, inspections, documentation, and completion verification.
• Assist with design reviews on major/minor construction, renovation and repair projects.
• Provide backup coverage as needed and supervise staff as applicable.
• Plan, coordinate and ensure quality for service contracts and repairs.
