Job summary

Vixxo is seeking a Sr. Assistant Facilities Manager based in Colwich, KS to oversee and assist in all areas of the Facility Manager role. This position supervises staff, coordinates across locations, and ensures well-managed building operations aligned with client goals.

The role drives best practices, manages budgets, reviews contracts, and maintains documentation across site operations. Strong leadership, budgeting, and contract language skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required in facilities management, building, business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience, preferably in commercial or industrial real estate facility management.
• One year supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in maintenance, construction, engineering, and all facets of property operation and building management preferred.
• Proficient in understanding management agreements and contract language.
• Excellent computer and systems knowledge.
• Knowledge of financial systems (Yardi a plus).

Responsibilities

• Manage the building staff in absence of the Facility Manager. Includes all managerial functions.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the facility and ensure contracts are reviewed and invoices match pricing.
• Supervise maintenance programs for interior and exterior conditions and appearance of properties.
• Respond promptly to building maintenance, repairs, and cleaning requests.
• Compile information to ensure site documentation and reports are accurate and timely.
• Prepare budgets, financial reports, contracts, expenditures, and purchase orders as directed.
• Hire, train, and motivate facility personnel and conduct staff evaluations.
