Job summary

College of DuPage seeks a Supervisor, Facilities Operations (FT) to serve as a high-level operational, procedural, and analytical partner to department Directors and Managers. The role involves designing workflows, managing budgets, and handling confidential information while ensuring continuity of operations in the Director's absence.

Key duties include coordinating departmental projects, administering budgets, supervising support staff, and overseeing the Facilities Call Center and maintenance

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Office Technology, Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a related field required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Office Technology, Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a related field preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education, coursework, certifications, and related work experience may substitute for the degree requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development and implementation of departmental procedures, workflows, and administrative processes under the Director or Assistant Director.
• Coordinate assigned departmental projects and initiatives, following objectives, timelines, and priorities.
• Assist with departmental budget administration, including monitoring expenditures, processing purchase orders and invoices, maintaining records, and preparing routine financial reports.
• Coordinate, hire, supervise, and assign work of support staff, and conduct annual evaluations of support staff.
• Supervise and monitor the handling of service-related calls and emails to the Facilities Call Center; administer the facility maintenance program and create work order reports.
