Job summary

FedEx Freight seeks an experienced project manager to lead cross-functional programs that optimize the facilities network, manage lifecycle projects, and support annual budgeting and technology initiatives. The role emphasizes collaboration, data-driven decisions, and adherence to timelines and specifications.

Responsibilities include prioritizing network expansions, leading cost and risk controls, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies while supporting capital planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent plus five years related project management or analytical experience in facility administration, construction, design, planning, real estate, or other related field.
• Strong knowledge of project management techniques and processes.
• Strong presentation skills required to communicate strategies and solutions.
• Excellent critical thinking, advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to organize concepts or ideas clearly across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple programs or projects to ensure all components and opportunities are identified, assigned, completed, and implemented.
• Lead prioritization and alignment of network expansion, fiscal year and technology enablement projects and facility maintenance and repair programs to meet customer expectations.
• Drive asset optimization using data to deliver on time and to specification for network expansion, fiscal year and technology enablement projects and facility maintenance and repair programs.
• Lead vendor performance and accountability for adherence to contractual obligations, project completion to specification, and funded approvals.
• Ensure compliance and mitigate risk by proactively managing regulatory and internal compliance aspects.
• Develop policies, procedures and job aids and ensure consistent application.
• Participate in development of facility capital, long-range outlooks, annual budget, and management to fiscal plan.
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations and company policies/procedures.
• Perform other duties as required.
