Job summary

FedEx Freight in the United States is seeking a seasoned project/program manager to lead collaborative efforts across the facilities network, overseeing lifecycle projects for expansions, annual budgets, and technology enablement initiatives.

You will direct prioritization, drive asset optimization, and manage vendors to deliver on time and to specification while ensuring regulatory compliance and risk mitigation. This role requires strong PM skills, communication, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent plus five (5) years related project management or analytical experience in facility administration, construction, design, planning, real estate, or other related field.
• Strong knowledge of project management techniques and processes.
• Strong presentation skills required to communicate strategies and solutions.
• Excellent critical thinking, advanced analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple programs or projects to ensure all components and opportunities are identified, assigned, completed, and implemented.
• Lead prioritization and alignment of network expansion, fiscal year and technology enablement projects and facility maintenance and repair programs.
• Drive asset optimization using data to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.
• Lead vendor performance and accountability for adherence to contractual obligations and funding.
• Ensure compliance and mitigate risk by proactively managing regulatory and internal compliance.
• Develop policies, procedures and job aids and ensure consistent application.
• Participate in development of facility capital and global expense long-range outlooks and annual budget.
