Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a skilled project manager to lead multiple programs across network expansion, fiscal year initiatives, and technology enablement projects. The role emphasizes data-driven asset optimization, vendor accountability, and rigorous regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will bring a Bachelor's degree with five years of related experience, strong communication and analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent plus five (5) years related project management or analytical experience in facility administration, construction, design, planning, real estate, or other related field.
• Strong knowledge of project management techniques and processes.
• Strong presentation skills required to communicate strategies and solutions.
• Excellent critical thinking, advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
• Solid time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office Software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to organize concepts clearly across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple programs or projects to ensure all components are identified, assigned, completed, and implemented.
• Prioritize and align network expansion, fiscal year and technology enablement projects and facility maintenance programs to meet customer expectations.
• Drive asset optimization using data to deliver timely results.
• Oversee vendor performance for contract adherence, project completion, and funding.
• Ensure compliance and mitigate risk by managing regulatory and internal compliance.
• Develop policies, procedures and job aids and ensure consistent application.
