Job summary

Bayer in Myerstown, PA seeks a Senior MEU Technician (Facilities) for 3rd shift (Fri–Mon) to maintain and optimize site utilities and equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and support process control upgrades in a GMP environment.

Fluency in English, strong math and reading ability, and experience with PLCs, HMIs, and 480 V systems are required. Overtime and a technical mindset are essential to ensure safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with ability to read and follow technical docs.
• Strong electro-mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in GMP/SOP environments and safe work practices.
• Ability to work overtime and on the 3rd shift Friday–Monday.
• Must be able to read electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, routine, and non-routine maintenance on facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment up to 480 V.
• Operate and calibrate control systems and instrumentation.
• Set up/changeover equipment and document maintenance activities.
• Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
