Responsibilities
  • Manages a team of Project Managers.
  • Responsible for quality projects being built on time and within budget.
  • Ensure scope changes are processed and incorporated into the current scope of work in a timely manner.
  • Reviews various reports to determine project status and determine actions required.
  • Provides periodic status and end‑of‑contract cost and budget analysis.
  • Conducts weekly meetings with the Field Leadership team.
  • Consistently meets with the customer to manage the priority of tool installations within the schedule.
  • Continually maintains the Project Status Log.
  • Communicates all project issues to the appropriate level of management in a timely manner.
  • Assembles the estimate for the project and reviews the final estimate to ensure the proper loading of those numbers into the project cost system.
  • Prepares and submits monthly contract billings to ensure proper cash flow during contract performance. Monthly billings will capture monthly progress as well as remeasured tool values under a Unit Price MEI contract.
  • Manages conflict resolution with customers, vendors, trades or Partners.
  • Identifies and develops policies and procedures for continuous aggressive improvement.
  • Assembles estimates for projects.
  • Visits job sites or onsite offices, performs work inspections, checks job progress, and resolves project and contract issues.
Qualifications
  • High School or GED is required.
  • Extensive experience in managing MEP Subcontractors at a Facilities Manager level.
  • Well networked within the MEP industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management or related field is preferred.
  • 15+ years proven management experience with large building projects in the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing environment.
  • Proven experience as Facilities Sr. Manager or relevant position.
  • Industrial plant and process operations.
  • Manufacturing facility experience.
  • Higher Education experience is a plus.
  • Well‑versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
