Job summary

The role requires 6+ years of facility maintenance experience, 2–5 years of management, and a strong understanding of building codes and HVAC systems. Bachelor’s degree preferred, and experience with clean rooms is highly desired.

Qualifications

• 6+ years facility maintenance experience in a large manufacturing facility
• 2–5 years of management experience in a similar environment
• Experience with clean rooms is highly desired
• High school or tech school education with 3 years of factory related maintenance experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility maintenance and minor repairs, including carpentry and painting
• Manage and direct facility personnel across multiple sites
• Supervise janitorial contractors and ensure service quality at designated locations
• Administer vendor and service contracts: define requirements, approve specifications, qualify vendors, and solicit proposals
• Schedule and perform preventative and predictive maintenance on buildings and systems
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities and fire protection equipment; coordinate licensed inspections as required
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain secure access to facilities
• Coordinate major repairs for mechanical, HVAC, boiler, and generator systems
• Estimate labor and material costs; obtain competitive pricing for equipment and supplies
• Maintain maintenance logs, inventory control, and risk management documentation
• Collaborate with external agencies (fire department, first responders) as needed
