Job summary

HR On Demand, on behalf of a client in robotics and optical systems, seeks a Facilities & Maintenance Manager in Texas. You will oversee site operations, maintenance programs, and equipment upgrades to support uninterrupted manufacturing and safety compliance.

Ideal candidates bring 7–10+ years of leadership in facilities management, experience with CMMS, and a focus on cost control and safety in a high-tech setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 7–10+ years of facilities and maintenance management experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and industrial equipment maintenance.
• Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance and CMMS tools.
• Familiarity with OSHA/ISO safety standards and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of manufacturing sites, offices, and controlled environments.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Lead installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Operations for equipment improvements.
• Manage budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory standards, and EHS initiatives.
• Negotiate contracts and manage third-party maintenance services.
