Job summary

Cowboy Space Corporation seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to lead operations at our Kent, WA facility. You will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant spaces for aerospace hardware development, partnering with engineering teams to support cleanroom and lab environments.

The role emphasizes building world-class facilities, solving problems in dynamic settings, and enabling rapid growth while maintaining high standards for space-centric operations.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Person per ITAR/EAR (citizen, green card, or protected status).
• 7+ years in facilities management or related field.
• Experience managing complex building systems (HVAC, electrical, fire/life safety).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, building codes, and workplace safety.
• Experience managing vendor contracts and coordinating multiple service providers.
• Budget management experience with cost control.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all facility operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems maintenance.
• Manage vendor relationships for maintenance, security, janitorial, and specialized services.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including OSHA and environmental standards.
• Lead facility security programs including access control, surveillance, and emergency response protocols.
• Plan and execute facility modifications, buildouts, and capital improvement projects.
• Develop and manage the facilities budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to support cleanroom, lab, and production environment requirements.
• Manage space planning and workplace configuration to support team growth and operational needs.
