Job summary

Apex Space, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Manager in the Los Angeles area to lead day-to-day facilities operations for a growing aerospace manufacturing campus. You will manage a on-site team, vendors, budgets, and programs to keep labs, production floors, and offices safe, compliant, and efficient.

Qualifications

• All applicants must be a U.S. Person due to export control requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive facilities management experience, preferably in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or high-tech environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing people, vendors, budgets, and facilities programs in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety) plus building codes, OSHA/EHS requirements, and facilities best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and CMMS / facilities workflow systems.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead facilities team across safety, maintenance, and operations.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for building systems.
• Manage on-site vendors, contracts, budgets, and service performance.
• Direct site build-outs, space planning, and major capital initiatives.
• Coordinate with EHS for OSHA and safety program execution.
• Maintain facilities documentation, data, and dashboards to inform decisions.
