Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) seeks a seasoned SFM/Regional Engineering Manager to oversee daily hard and soft services across 20-30 locations in the Montgomery, AL area. This role combines technical leadership with operational coordination, ensuring compliance, cost control, and timely maintenance.
You'll mentor engineers, lead cross-site projects, manage vendor performance, and deliver reliable building systems while aligning with sustainability goals and client expectations.

Technical expert and operational coordinator responsible for daily hard and soft services management across 20-30 locations, while providing engineering expertise and best practice leadership across the broader portfolio. Individual contributor role with influence through technical authority rather than direct reports.
Education: Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services) or equivalent technical qualification; relevant professional certifications preferred
Experience: 7-10 years facilities/building engineering experience in Office and Retail environments Multi-site operational coordination experience Demonstrated technical expertise across building systems Experience mentoring or training others (formal or informal) Hard and soft services management background
Technical Skills: Deep technical knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, BMS) Strong understanding of maintenance strategies and asset management principles Proficiency with CMMS, BMS platforms, and facilities management software Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and compliance requirements Energy management and sustainability best practices Vendor management and contract administration
Core Competencies: Technical leadership through influence rather than authority Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences (technical and non-technical) Strong organizational skills to manage multiple locations simultaneously Problem-solving capability with practical, cost-effective solutions Collaborative approach to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement Self-directed work style with ability to prioritize competing demands Financial acumen including budget management and cost control
