Job summary

Good Day Farm is seeking an experienced Facilities and Maintenance Technician III to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility equipment and building systems with minimal supervision. You will serve as the technical expert for complex maintenance tasks and mentor junior technicians while supporting reliability initiatives.

Responsibilities include advanced troubleshooting of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, applying root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of mechanical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and diagnose complex equipment failures.

Responsibilities

• Toubleshoots, inspects, and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Diagnoses complex equipment failures using root cause analysis and implements corrective actions.
• Supports critical repairs impacting production, safety, or compliance.
• Escalates issues requiring engineering or vendor support.
• Works with diagnostic tools, multimeters, and testing equipment safely.
• Recommends maintenance improvements to increase reliability and reduce downtime.
• Ensures OSHA, LOTO, PPE, and safety policy compliance.
• Mentors junior technicians and provides guidance as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
