Job summary

Ecolab in Naperville, IL is seeking a seasoned Facilities Maintenance Leader to oversee the planning, organization, and supervision of facility maintenance and operations. You will guide a team of technicians, ensure safe and efficient operation of systems, and drive reliability and performance across manufacturing and office environments.

This role requires a strong background in building systems, preventive maintenance, and experience leading cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of facilities maintenance and operations experience.
• 4+ years leading or supervising maintenance teams.
• Experience troubleshooting complex facility systems and equipment.
• Proficiency with CMMS and standard software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise facility maintenance, construction, repair, and operational activities.
• Lead, coach, develop, and support a team of non-Supply Chain maintenance employees.
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of facility systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex facility and equipment issues with minimal supervision.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and service providers to support facility projects and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage maintenance schedules, work orders, and resource allocation to support operational objectives.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that enhance reliability, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
• Support facility capital projects, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to address facility-related needs and priorities.
