Qualifications

• Must have two years of general maintenance experience or related construction trade.
• Valid, active driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment for preventive and emergency maintenance.
• Survey jobs to ensure proper materials and tools are available.
• Direct and inspect detainee maintenance staff's work.
• Perform carpentry to repair or replace doors and windows.
• Repair plumbing, heating, and air conditioning.
• Perform electrical work and repair/replace fluorescent fixtures.
• Execute minor construction work using hand and power tools.
• Assist in maintaining the security of assigned detainees.
