Job summary

The Cheesecake Factory Bakery in North Carolina seeks a Senior Maintenance Manager to lead strategic direction for the facility's Engineering and Maintenance team and drive continuous improvement. You will develop leaders, coach staff, and implement safety, quality, and customer service programs across the function.

You will own asset management and oversee utilities, infrastructure, and process safety while coordinating capital projects and cross-functional teams to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of coaching and leadership experience in a team-based environment.
• Strong coaching and leadership skills.
• Experience in strategic planning processes.
• Commitment to personal growth and developing those around you.
• Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, EPA regulatory requirements.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of strategic direction for the facility Engineering and Maintenance team.
• Develop Leaders and Members to higher levels of success and responsibility including sourcing, hire, train and coach.
• Lead efforts to develop and implement safety, quality, continuous improvement, and customer service programs across the functional areas coached.
• Lead the asset management program for the facility including maximum utilization, replacement, upgrading, maintenance and tracking.
• Lead the strategic direction for all utilities, infrastructure, and support areas within the facility.
• Lead the Process Safety Management (PSM) efforts for the facility.
• Own the environmental realm for the facility and drive continuous improvement in this area.
• Lead capital and expense driven projects and liaise to resources driving projects affecting the facility.
• Lead cross-functional teams comprised of various functional areas within the organization.
• Effectively and efficiently manage the use of all consumed energy and utilities (gas, electricity, water).

The Senior Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the development and strategic direction for the facility maintenance team with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. • Lead the asset management program for the facility to include maximum utilization, replacement, upgrading, maintenance, and tracking.
• Lead the strategic direction for all utilities, infrastructure, and support areas within the facility.
• Lead the Process Safety Management (PSM) efforts for the facility.
• Own the environmental realm for the facility in conjunction with leading continuous improvement efforts within this area.
• Lead capital and expense driven projects within the facility as well as act as liaison to those other resources that may be driving projects that affect the facility.
• Lead cross-functional teams comprised of various functional areas within the organization.
• Effectively and efficiently manage the use of all consumed energy and utilities, including natural gas, electricity, and water.

What we require:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Engineering field.
• Minimum of 5 years of coaching and leadership experience in a team-based environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field Required.
• Strong coaching and leadership skills.
• Experience in strategic planning processes.
• Commitment to personal growth as well as the proven ability to develop those around you to higher levels of responsibility.
• Knowledgeable in regulatory compliance (OSHA, FDA, EPA).
• Working knowledge of MSOffice and AutoCAD.
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
