You will plan, organize, and direct operations, oversee contractors, and implement preventive maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory maintenance/plant experience.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems.
• Ability to read blueprints; knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to supervise professional and non-professional staff.

Responsibilities

• Meet the maintenance needs of the facility.
• Recognize hazards to residents or staff safety and take action to maintain a safe environment.
• Replace, repair, and purchase items per policy and procedure.
• Plan and implement preventive maintenance programs and document accurately.
• Maintain weather protection against cold, heat, fire, and other hazards.
• Supervise outside contractors.
• Serve on-call for emergencies and off-duty hours.
• Perform errands and tasks as required.
• Maintain exterior building and grounds upkeep in all weather.
