Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in maintenance/plant operations.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand building codes and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to supervise professional and non-professional personnel.

Responsibilities

• Meet the maintenance needs of the facility.
• Identify hazards to residents or staff safety and take action to maintain a safe environment.
• Replace, repair, and purchase items per facility policy.
• Plan and implement preventive maintenance and document accurately.
• Maintain weather protection against cold, heat, fire and other hazards.
• Supervise outside contractors and service providers.
• Serve on-call for emergencies and off-duty hours.
• Perform errands and tasks as required.
• Maintain exterior upkeep of building and grounds in all weather.
• Demonstrate safe techniques per company policy and training.
