Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years experience in a supervisory maintenance/plant-related role.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand building codes and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to supervise professional and non-professional staff.

Responsibilities

• Meet the maintenance needs of the facility.
• Identify hazards and ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
• Repair, replace, and procure items following facility policy.
• Plan and document preventive maintenance programs.
• Maintain weather protection and building exterior upkeep.
• Supervise outside contractors and on-call coverage.
• Perform errands and on-site tasks as required.
• Demonstrate safety techniques per policy and training.
