Job summary

United Trading Group seeks a Lead Maintenance Specialist to keep facilities safe and operations seamless. You will act as a senior technician and mentor, applying building controls, maintenance, welding, and trade systems to sustain high performance.

In this role, you will lead journey-level maintenance, coordinate projects, and support facility managers across the region, ensuring compliance and quality workmanship in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with six years of journey-level experience in commercial building maintenance or related trades.
• Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program in a building trade with four years of journey-level experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and related experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance and construction activities across state facilities.
• Coordinate projects, assign daily work, and mentor staff to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Serve as a technical resource for managers, contractors, and agencies with focus on quality and safety.
