Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to lead a multi-site portfolio across the Bay Area and California. The role blends strategic oversight with hands-on responsibility, including frequent site visits, vendor governance, and collaboration with Real Estate, Design, and Security teams.

You will drive maintenance programs, manage capital projects, and optimize facility performance with a hospitality-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience in a related field.
• Certifications such as CFM, FMP, IFMA, BOMA or PMP preferred.
• 7+ years of facilities management or related experience, engineering background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary facilities partner for Retail stores within the assigned region.
• Build relationships with store leadership and stakeholders through proactive communication and hospitality-driven service.
• Conduct on-site reviews at each location at least twice per month to identify issues and improve performance.
• Lead and coordinate facility maintenance through third-party vendors and service providers.
• Manage vendor performance, expenditures, invoicing, and procurement activities.
• Support capital projects and operational initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Manage operating and capital budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Oversee building systems maintenance (MEP, controls, lighting, safety).
• Ensure compliance with regulations, EHS programs, and quality assurance.
• Promote continuous improvement and CBRE's RISE values.
• Travel to client sites; strong organizational and communication skills required.
