Job summary

Total Quality Logistics in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a Manager of Facilities to lead the operation and maintenance of our office facilities for 2,500+ employees. You will supervise a team of Facilities Technicians and ensure environments are safe, reliable and well maintained.

The role focuses on preventive maintenance, capital projects, budgeting and vendor management, with hands-on leadership and deep knowledge of commercial building systems to support TQL's growth and daily business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in facilities management or commercial property operations.
• 5+ years of experience leading facilities/maintenance teams.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, power).
• Experience with mission-critical facilities or data center infrastructure is a plus.
• Experience developing preventive maintenance programs and SOPs.
• Strong track record in capital projects and facility initiatives from planning to completion.
• Experience managing operating and capital budgets, vendors, and contracts.
• Knowledge of energy management, regulatory compliance, safety and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Facilities Technicians through coaching and performance management.
• Oversee daily operation, maintenance and repair of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, data center infra).
• Develop preventive maintenance programs and SOPs to improve reliability.
• Manage capital improvement and facility projects from planning through completion.
• Oversee facility budgets and evaluate expenditures and lifecycle costs.
• Select and manage contractors, vendors and service providers.
• Monitor building system performance and energy consumption.
• Ensure facilities comply with regulations, codes and safety practices.
• Oversee critical power and data center infrastructure maintenance.
• Identify and resolve issues with minimal business disruption.
• Partner with stakeholders to align facility services with workplace needs.
• Prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
