Job summary

Medtronic is seeking an experienced Facilities leader to oversee operations across multiple Orange County sites, including Irvine and Santa Ana. You will manage maintenance strategies, capital projects, and vendor performance to ensure operational continuity for manufacturing, labs, and offices.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of facilities experience or an advanced degree with 5+ years, plus 5+ years of people leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of facilities or maintenance experience OR advanced degree with 5+ years of facilities or maintenance experience.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience.
• Experience managing facilities operations within manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, or mixed-use environments.
• Experience coordinating maintenance programs, infrastructure projects, and vendor services across multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead facilities operations, maintenance, and infrastructure management across manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, and office facilities.
• Develop and execute maintenance strategies to ensure reliable operation of facility equipment, utilities, building systems, and site services.
• Oversee capital improvement projects from planning through implementation.
• Coordinate planned maintenance, repairs, and projects with site stakeholders to minimize disruption.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Utilize CMMS and building automation systems to monitor performance and drive maintenance excellence.
• Lead and evaluate facilities personnel and vendor performance.
