Job summary

Genentech in Holly Springs, NC is seeking a Senior Manager, Facilities to oversee facility management and external service providers for a state-of-the-art bio-pharma site. You will drive cGMP readiness, budgeting, and strategic partner governance across IFM and hard/soft services.

You will lead cross-functional teams with manufacturing, quality, SHE, and global colleagues to ensure seamless operations, continuous improvement, and regulatory readiness in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management or related field.
• 8+ years in bio-pharma manufacturing with cGMP facilities.
• Experience leading facility and IFM contracts.
• Proven ability managing regulatory compliance for cGMP support functions.
• Strong leadership in matrix organizations and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic oversight of Facility Management soft services and external providers.
• Own site facility compliance programs including GMP Cleaning, Facility Fitness, Pest Control.
• Ensure zero business disruption with BCM capabilities and vendor escalation.
• Establish governance, KPI reviews, onboarding, training adherence, and escalations.
• Oversee budgets, SCRs, contract risk, and drive cost efficiency through process improvements.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, SHE and global teams to standardize processes and CI.
