Job summary

SourceAmerica is seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Facilities Manager to lead the operations of our 88,000-square-foot headquarters in Vienna, Virginia, and oversee leased properties. The role partners with internal teams and external vendors to ensure safe, cost-efficient, and welcoming workplaces.

You will manage preventive maintenance, safety, security, budgets, and campus improvements while supervising staff and contractors, with a hybrid work model and 5 days in the office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 10+ years of facilities, property management, workplace operations or related experience.
• 5+ years of management experience, including oversight of employees, vendors, or contractors.
• Experience managing owned and leased properties, preventive maintenance programs, vendor contracts, budgets, and facilities projects.
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, project management, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with an ERP or business application system is preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel occasionally based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance, safety, security, and day-to-day facilities operations for the headquarters building and leased properties.
• Monitor commercial leases and negotiate renewals or extensions with brokers.
• Develop and manage annual preventive maintenance schedules for owned and leased properties.
• Lead landlord, vendor, and contractor relationships, ensuring service quality and contractual compliance.
• Manage facilities budgets, operating expenses, priorities, and improvement projects.
• Supervise facilities employees and third-party contractors, including workload planning and performance management.
• Inspect buildings and grounds, prioritize maintenance needs, and maintain records related to repairs and vendor performance.
• Collaborate with teams across a 400+ person organization with a national footprint.
