Job summary

JLL in Texas is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to lead operations for a Fortune 500 technology client. You will manage relationship, budgets, and service delivery across Plano, Richardson, Allen and Austin, ensuring uptime and occupant satisfaction.

The role requires 7+ years in facilities management, leadership experience, strong budgeting and communication skills, and CMMS familiarity (Corrigo a plus). On-site schedule with compassionate leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years in facilities management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven client relationship management and service delivery.
• Experience with facilities management/CMMS software. (Corrigo Experience a plus)
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in facilities management.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagement as trusted advisor and primary liaison, building partnerships through regular communication and proactive problem-solving.
• Oversee programs that enhance workplace satisfaction, including amenity management, event coordination, and tenant communication strategies.
• Understand client objectives and translate them into actionable facilities strategies that align with business goals.
• Champion a customer-first approach across all touch points, from move-in/move-out coordination to daily operations.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex issues, ensuring swift resolution and maintaining client confidence.
• Maintain interface with suppliers, ensuring contract compliance, reporting, and resolution of critical impacts to occupant relations.
• Prepare, submit and manage facility budgets with client goals addressed.
• Ensure expenses are managed within approved budgets and explain variances.
• Provide guidance on cost-reducing initiatives.
• Lead performance and development of assigned staff; build career development plans and productive coaching.
• Achieve and maintain KPIs and SLAs; deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Leverage JLL resources for projects and ensure compliance with policies.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws applicable to facilities operations.
