Job summary

Porter-Gaud School seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead the operations and maintenance across three campuses. You will oversee routine, preventive, and reactive maintenance, manage staff schedules, and coordinate with HR and accounting to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires extensive maintenance experience, strong leadership, and the ability to respond to emergencies after hours. The position reports to the Director of Facilities and involves event coordination and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of supervisory experience in a Customer Service and/or Facilities industry.
• Extensive knowledge of campus maintenance operations and systems.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience and training.
• APPA and/or Skilled Trade Certificate preferred.
• Experience in an educational environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of operations and maintenance routines.
• Assist in Building Automation System operations for HVAC across campuses.
• Manage employee schedules and HR communication.
• Maintain inventory system for tools and equipment.
• Provide leadership and training to maintenance staff.
• Review vendor invoices and ensure contract terms are met.
