Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. seeks a devoted Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain machinery and electrical systems across production lines.

You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment, support safety and reliability goals, and collaborate with engineers to implement improvements. You will perform preventive maintenance, fabrication tasks, and documentation to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Qualifications

• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Support operations departments and facility, ensuring equipment safety, availability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair production equipment including electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Collaborate with maintenance engineer to develop and implement process or equipment changes.
• Install and modify production and facilities equipment using layouts, diagrams, schematics.
• Understand plant systems, infrastructure and utilities.
• Use drawings and schematics to complete assemblies and diagnose issues.
• Review and correct machine control logic with controls engineer when needed.
• Identify and request replacement parts and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair per approved processes.
• Fabrication work including manual shop tools (lathes, mills, welding, plasma, sheet metal).
• Document actions and communicate needs across shifts.
• Complete facilities project work, including planning and material orders.
• Mentor and train junior maintenance staff.

• Document actions and communicate needs across teams.
• Handle facility projects from planning to execution.
• Mentor junior staff and train peers.
