Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to perform basic plant maintenance, repair and installation tasks in a dynamic manufacturing setting. You will troubleshoot electrical components, motors, belts and assemblies to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires reading electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics, using meters and megger testing equipment, and adhering to safety guidelines. A craft apprenticeship plus high school diploma is expected.

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship or craft training program.
Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
Ability to utilize electrical testing equipment (Meters and meggers).

Responsabilités

Perform basic plant maintenance, repair and installation tasks.
Repair and maintain machinery, mechanical and electrical equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment breakdown problems.
Inspect, test and operate machinery and equipment prior to releasing to manufacturing.
Work would include, but not be limited to replacing electrical components, motors, installing belts, tightening nuts and bolts, adjusting and aligning rolls and rollers, replacing defective parts.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair work on AC and DC motors and controls.
Adheres to Fiberon's safety guidelines.
Other duties may be assigned.
